1916 Commemoration

We constructed some of the buildings in Dublin city where events during the 1916 Rising took place.
Together we composed a new class proclamation. It is our vision for Ireland in 2016.
We also created our own unique proclamations to celebrate Proclamation day.

Fourth Class Winners!

We are very proud of the two fourth class teams that took part in the Annual Credit Union School Quiz on Friday 29th of January in the Red Cow Hotel.  Well done to Julia, Kym, Ellie, Katie and congarulations to Sophie, Isabel, Kumashe and Chloe A. who came third in the u11 category.

Welcome to our class blog! We have started the new year in Scoil Mhuire with a healthy and positive attitude! Our New Year resolutions include: working hard in school and getting fit. 
Each day we jog laps of our yard in preparation for our cross country competition in the summer term.

We are learning about length. Using rulers, metre sticks, trundle wheels and measuring tapes, we measured lots of different distances and objects in the world around us.
